Hearts Without Borders (HWB) has no boundaries when it comes to serving and touching human need. Our current work is in Burundi, Africa: the poorest country in the world. Seventy (70) percent of the population is under 25 years old and the median age is 17 years because of the genocide. Burundi is heavily populated with one of the highest densities in Africa.
HWB is a 501 c(3) non-profit charitable organization, founded by Pastor Jeri Matson and the late Pastor Harlyn Matson. Pastor Jeri currently resides in Loomis, CA.
Over the years, HWB has helped build and establish thriving ministries including the Matson Medical Clinic (Formally Hope Medical Clinic) and Matson Birthing Center (Formally Hope Birthing Center), the Hope Computer and Media Schools, several Sewing Schools, English classes, and the Hope Event Center—all of which are now self-sustaining and serving thousands.
HWB is moving forward with one of the most important projects in our history: completing the Matson Medical Center, starting with the Matson Surgical Center that will finally bring lifesaving care to mothers and families in Burundi and the surrounding region.
Acts of support, no matter how small, have the power to ease burdens, uplift spirits, and inspire others to do the same. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, donating to a good cause.
